Probably not, since most likely something was lacking with the 6 Gig devices. Ipods today look pretty much the same as they did at one time. The only true differences is that the Ipods today have touch buttons, while the older versions were clickable. Now we have an automatic scrolling device, rather than a non-mechanic pad. According to few the first Ipods would only operate on Mac, while the newer versions are compatible with Windows XP both home and pro editions, as well as Windows NT, ME, 2000, and so forth. Apple took advantage of the features of Ipods received, by later offered a carry cases, USB cables, and headphones. Most products sold before this only came with a USB cable.
